John Nolan Cbe

John Nolan CBE has extensive experience in the construction industry. John served as the Chairman of Nolan Associates and Nolan Associates Consulting Structural & Civil Engineers since 1993. John also held the role of Chairman at Antringham Developments starting in 2003. Additionally, they served as the Deputy Chairman and later Chairman of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) from 2016 to 2020. John was appointed as the Past Chairman of the CIC Building Safety Committee in 2020. Moreover, they were the Past President of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2012 and a Member of the Board of Trustees at Bournville Village Trust from 2013 to 2021. John also held the position of Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor of Innovation at the University of Birmingham starting in 2012.

John Nolan CBE completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Lanchester Polytechnic from 1970 to 1974. John then pursued their Master of Science in Structural Engineering at the University of Warwick, graduating in 1978.
