Data And Insights Lead at The Institution of Structural Engineers

Sophia Turner has extensive experience in the field of data management and analysis. Sophia currently holds the position of Data and Insights Lead at The Institution of Structural Engineers, a role they have been in since May 2022. Prior to this, Sophia worked as a Database Manager at King's College Hospital Charity from January 2018 to April 2022. Sophia also served as a Senior Data Analyst (FTC) at Unicef UK from January 2017 to January 2018. In addition, they worked as a Data Planner at Save the Children UK from June 2015 to January 2017, and as a Database Manager at Breast Cancer Campaign from October 2014 to June 2015. Sophia's career began at CARE International UK, where they served as a Database Marketing Officer from May 2013 to October 2014.

Sophia Turner attended Alcester Grammar School from 1997 to 2004, where they obtained their A-Levels in French, Biology, and English Literature with all A grades. Sophia also achieved an AS-Level in Modern History with an A grade. Prior to that, Sophia completed 11 GCSEs, including Maths, French, German, English Language, and English Literature, all with A* grades. From 2004 to 2008, Sophia studied at The University of Manchester, earning a BA (Hons) degree in French & Linguistics. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "DAT201x: Querying Data with Transact-SQL" from edX.
