Matthew Burgess is a User Research and Design Consultant at Independent Consultant since March 2023. Matthew also serves as the Interaction Design Foundation United States Country Manager at Interaction Design Foundation, where Matthew manages 60+ local communities across the US. Previously, Matthew worked as a Designer at Loud Labs, a UX Design Contractor in their freelance work, and as a Senior Functional Analyst at The College Board. With a Master of Arts in New Media, Interaction Design, and Web Technology from the Academy of Art University, Matthew has a strong background in design and research. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art from James Madison University and a certification in Baking and Pastry from California Culinary Academy.
