Shivan Kannan

Shivan Kannan is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles focused on user experience and interaction design. Currently serving as the Design Community Leader at the Interaction Design Foundation in Chennai since August 2017, Shivan has previously held positions such as UX Designer at VIMANA (2015-2020), Creative Head at QED (2013-2015), Interaction & User Interface Designer at HeyMath! (2010-2013), Senior Engineer in User Interface & Usability at Qvantel (2007-2010), Graphic & Web Designer at HeyMath! (2005-2007), and Senior Multimedia Executive at Satvat Infosol Pvt Ltd (2002-2005). Shivan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Sathyabama University, where studies were completed from 1998 to 2002.
