Muna Darwish

IB Diploma And TOK Coordinator at The International Academy - Amman

Muna Darwish has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the IB Diploma and TOK Coordinator, IB DP History and TOK Teacher, Head of Humanities, and MYP Coordinator at the International Academy in Amman since August 2010. Previously, Muna worked as a freelance trainer and moderator for the Queen Rania Teacher Academy from 2016 to 2018 and was an IB DP History Examiner for the International Baccalaureate from 1997 to 2015. Muna's earlier roles include teaching IB DP History and TOK at the Amman Baccalaureate School from 2008 to 2010, serving as Regional Director and Founder for the Arab Network for Civic Education from 2003 to 2008, and holding various teaching positions at the Amman Baccalaureate School and Rawdat Al-Ma'aref Schools & College. Muna began a teaching career at Al Mawakeb Al Barsha in 1985. Muna holds a Lebanese Baccalaureate in Philosophy from Ahliah School and a Bachelor's degree in Arts in English Literature with a minor in History from the American University of Beirut.
