Ivan Martinez Catalina

Ivan Martinez Catalina is currently the Head of Buildings & Operations Unit at the International Energy Agency, a position held since September 2015. Prior to this, Ivan served as Program Manager and Project Manager at Bechtel Corporation from April 2011 to August 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing complex infrastructure projects such as the Libreville Port and the Presidential Palace. Ivan's career began at Urbaser as Services Manager, followed by roles that include Bid Manager in Morocco at Proinosa and various engineering positions at esteemed firms. Ivan holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de València and certifications in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance and Project Management from prestigious institutions like Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Stanford University.
