Lizzie Sayer

Lizzie Sayer is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in the energy and social science sectors. Currently serving as an Energy Technology Writer and Editor at the International Energy Agency since February 2023, Lizzie previously held the role of Senior Communications Officer at the International Science Council, managing publication processes and drafting a variety of content. Lizzie's expertise includes leading communication efforts for the International Social Science Council as Communications Officer and 2016 World Social Science Report Manager, as well as serving as Communications Coordinator for Future Earth at both CNRS and the International Council for Science. Early career roles included Development and Communications Assistant at St Anne's College, University of Oxford, and Senior Producer at Westminster Forum Projects. Lizzie holds a degree in Modern European Languages from The University of Edinburgh and has completed additional education at Uppsala University and Malungs Folkhogskola.
