Zakia Adam

Zakia Adam is an experienced statistics manager at the International Energy Agency (IEA), specializing in the coordination of the Energy Data and Modelling Capacity Building programme in Sub-Saharan Africa since February 2010. Prior to this role, Zakia contributed as an energy analyst within the Energy Demand Outlook Division, focusing on sustainability and energy forecasts. Zakia's career includes significant statistical work at the OECD, where responsibilities ranged from managing data submissions from member countries to creating and analyzing economic indicators. Zakia holds a Bachelor degree in Competitive Intelligence from Université Paris-Est Créteil and an undergraduate diploma in mathematics applied to social science from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, along with a Higher School Certificate from Loreto College Rose-Hill in Mauritius.
