The International School Nido de Aguilas
Alex Hawkes joined the Nido de Aguilas Board in August 2022 and is a member of the Capital Projects and Nominations & Policy Committees. He is a Nido alumnus (Class of 1993) and his youngest child currently attends Nido.
Alex works as a diplomat at the United States Embassy in Santiago. At the U.S. Embassy, he is the Economic Unit Chief in the Political-Economic Section. Prior to returning to Chile in September 2020, Alex served for the U.S. State Department in Afghanistan, Jordan, Malaysia, Dubai, and Mexico. Alex has a Master’s Degree in Economics from California State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.
