Carlos Fonseca served on the Nido Nominations and Policy Committee prior to becoming a member of the Board of Directors in May 2021 and is currently a member of the Advancement Committee as well. He has two daughters in Middle School and has lived in Chile since 2018.
Carlos is currently the Regional Managing Director for Latin America at Astec Industries Inc. Prior to Astec, he was country manager for Peru and Colombia at Komatsu Mining, held various legal roles for a US based mining equipment manufacturer, a US based medical device and pharmaceutical company, and worked for US based law firms Gordon & Reese LLP and White & Case LLP.
Carlos holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University, a Juris Doctor from Columbia University, and an MBA from Tulane University and the Universidad de Chile.
