Emma Wegoda

Emma Wegoda currently serves as the Senior Sponsorship & Partnership Manager at The Investment Association and is a member of the Leadership Team at the IoD ASEAN Group. With a strong focus on enhancing trade and investment between the UK and ASEAN, Emma leverages prior experience as Head of the Asia Pacific Region and the Asset Management Sector at the City of London Corporation, where key initiatives included leading the “Global Investment Futures” campaign. Emma's extensive background in investment relations spans multiple roles, including Head of Investor Relations for Asia Pacific at the Department for International Trade, where relationships with institutional investors were developed. Early career experiences included positions in UK Trade & Investment, supporting financial services and asset management, as well as roles in parliamentary support and political research. Emma is currently pursuing an International Studies degree at The Open University.
