Helen Ayres is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and communications management. Currently serving as Head of Communications at The Investment Association since May 2017, Helen has held various roles within the organization, including Senior Communications Manager and PR Manager. From May 2019 to May 2023, Helen was a City Councillor for Patching Hall at Chelmsford City Council, where responsibilities included chairing the Governance Committee and contributing to the Policy Board and Planning Committee. Previous roles include PR Account Manager at Action Global Communications and PR Executive at 3CX, among others. Helen's academic background includes a Master's degree in International Public Policy from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in History from UCL, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Pennsylvania.
