Anne Hayden

Anne Hayden currently serves as the Deputy Chief Subeditor and Senior Pagination Journalist at The Irish Times since September 2021. Prior to this, Anne held roles at The Sunday Business Post as Subeditor/Digital Subeditor from September 2018 to September 2021, and as Product Editor at Lonely Planet for a brief period in early 2020. Anne's extensive experience at News UK spanned from February 2008 to March 2018, where positions included Chief Subeditor, Deputy Chief Subeditor, Assistant Chief Subeditor, and News Subeditor for The Irish Sun. Earlier career contributions were made at Metro Dublin as Arts and Features Layout Subeditor and at Irish Examiner as News Subeditor, Features Writer, and News Reporter. Anne holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution.
