Elinor Mombrun O'Neill has a diverse background in various roles within the technology and media industries. Elinor worked at The Irish Times for a significant portion of their career, starting as a UX & Web Designer in 2009 and eventually becoming the Head of Product Innovation and Development in 2019. In their different roles, they focused on delivering digital products that enhance customer experience, leading teams and collaborating with senior editors and managers. Elinor also worked at Monster Paw Games as the Product Development Strategist and Director, developing strategies and managing sales for VR products. Prior to that, they worked at Binarie Digital Media as a Web Designer, Front end Developer, and Director, involved in web application development for various clients. Additionally, they worked as an Application Developer at The Irish Times, where they designed and developed a custom flash application for playing crosswords online. Elinor started their career as a Project Administrator at the National Learning Network.

Elinor Mombrun O'Neill has a Mini MBA in Executive Management & Leadership Skills from Ulster University, which they completed from 2022 to 2032. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Interactive Digital Media from Trinity College Dublin in 2005-2006. Elinor also holds an HND in Media Production and Journalism from Ballyfermot College of Further Education, completed from 1997 to 1999.
