Lorenzo Agostinelli

Lorenzo Agostinelli currently serves as the Basic Design and Naval Architecture General Coordinator - Deputy Director of the Basic Design Department at The Italian Sea Group S.p.A. since June 2023, overseeing concept development and compliance for yacht designs. Previously, Lorenzo held the position of Basic Design Manager for Sailing & Motor Yachts Projects at Laurent Giles Naval Architects Ltd., where responsibilities included structural and hull design. With extensive experience as a Lead Structural Engineer at BMT and as a Senior Naval Architect at American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Lorenzo has focused on plan reviews, project management, and compliance with statutory regulations across various commercial and specialized vessels. Lorenzo holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova and has furthered education at Universidade da Coruña.
