The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation
Nicola Bonner is a dedicated nursing professional currently serving as a Staff Nurse at The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation and as a Registered Nurse with Nurse on Call Ireland since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Staff Nurse with the Health Service Executive from September 2022 to September 2023, and a position at LauraLynn, Ireland's Children's Hospice, in late 2021. Nicola began nursing training as a Student Nurse with the Health Service Executive in early 2021 and has a solid background with retail experience as a Retail Sales Assistant at Iceland Foods from 2017 to 2020. Nicola is pursuing a Master's in Adult Health Nursing at Queen's University Belfast, having completed a Bachelor's degree in Intellectual Disability Nursing at Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation
The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation is a nationwide charity that funds and provides in-home nursing care and respite support for children with severe to profound neurodevelopmental delay, up to the age of 6. This may include children with brain injury, genetic diagnosis, cerebral palsy and undiagnosed conditions. Another key part of our service is end-of-life care for all children up to the age of 6, irrespective of diagnosis. RCN - 2003621
