Gillian Gryz

Team Lead, Research - Executive Search at The Jacobson Group

Gillian Gryz has a wide range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Gillian worked at The Jacobson Group from 2016 to the present, starting as a Researcher in Executive Search, then progressing to Senior Researcher, and currently serving as the Team Lead. Prior to this, they were an Oral History Researcher at The HistoryMakers in 2016. In 2015, they worked as an English Language Teacher at Britannia School, and in 2014, they were an English Teacher at Language Services Direct. Gillian also gained experience as a Historical Research Intern at Lion Television in 2014. Gillian started their career as an English Teacher at Britannia School in 2011 and also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they served as an Administrative Assistant at The Writers Workshop from 2009 to 2011 and as an Education Intern at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center in 2010.

Gillian Gryz holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public/Applied History from Royal Holloway, University of London, which was obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021, CIR from AIRS, an ADP Company in 2017, and Trinity College Certificate in TESOL from Oxford House in 2011.
