Michael Clark serves as Oswald’s Pittsburgh Market Leader, with oversight of both Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. He previously served as a sales consultant in the employee benefits division. He has extensive experience working with privately held, publicly traded, and non-profit organizations across the entire country. His approach is to gain a strong understanding of an organization’s business, culture, and risk tolerance, while identifying and designing innovative cost-effective solutions to minimize risk and increase employee satisfaction. This method translates into sustainable benefits programs that positively impact employee turnover and the overall human capital of an organization. His clients range from middle market sized employers to large, global organizations.
Michael earned national industry recognition by being named to the “2019 Rising Stars in Advising” class by Employee Benefit Advisor magazine. He also was recently named to Cleveland Crain`s “Twenty in their 20s.”He holds designations of Registered Employee Benefits Consultant along with his PPACA certification through the National Association of Health Underwriters and is active in the SHRM community.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Michael is a graduate of Kent State with a degree in Communications. He was also a member of the 2012 College World Series Team and a Major League Baseball Draftee. Michael received his MBA from the Ohio State University in the Spring of 2021, and will be pursuing his Masters in Insurance Management at Columbia University in the Fall 2022.
