Moira Lyon

Moira G Lyon is the Market Leader for the Cincinnati branch of Oswald Companies. She manages the overall growth strategy in Southwest Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky with a passion for risk management. Moira enjoys working directly with clients to manage commercial and sophisticated family office exposures to protect their assets, but most importantly their reputation. Moira has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Consulting with clients to provide a thoughtful risk management strategy is where she and the Oswald team does their best work. Moira’s focus provides a proactive opportunity for clients to engage in their insurance placement with Choice and Control. Previously, Moira spent her career on the carrier side of the business with Great American Insurance. Prior to Great American, Moira was focused on insuring historic properties through a partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, nationwide.

Moira earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from South Carolina University. Moira has continued her passion for learning with time through Chubb Insurance on a year long program at Wharton Business School. Moira was selected as a winner of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2015 Forty Under 40 Award, an honor recognizing Greater Cincinnati’s next generation of young leaders and innovators. She is a proud graduate of the Cincinnati Chamber C-Change program and Leadership Action through the Cincinnati Regional Chamber. Moira was named a 2019 Rising Star through the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati and the Class of 2020 Women of Influence, given by Lead Tribune Media Group. Moira loves serving her community with organizations that include United Way of Greater Cincinnati, The Scouts and Kenwood Country Club.
