Casey Budesilich's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at The James Irvine Foundation since October 2020. Prior to this, Casey held the position of Director of Finance & Administration at the same organization from 2016 to October 2020. Casey also has experience as the Director of Client Services at Tides from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Casey has held roles such as Director of Operations & Strategy at YTH in 2011, Deputy Director at World Savvy from 2009 to 2011, and National Growth Director at Breakthrough Collaborative from 2005 to 2009.

Casey Budesilich has a diverse education history. They first attended Southwestern Oregon Community College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Chemistry. Following this, Casey pursued their Bachelor's degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management at the University of Oregon from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they went on to study Community Development at the University of California, Berkeley from 2002 to 2004, earning a Master of City Planning (M.C.P.) degree.
