Peggy Maskey is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in investment management and financial operations. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at The James Irvine Foundation since February 2021, Peggy is responsible for monitoring transactions and managing private equity data in support of annual audits. Previous roles include Manager of Investments at the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco and Senior Portfolio Accountant positions at various firms, including Harvest Capital Strategies and The James Irvine Foundation, where Peggy managed investment portfolios totaling over $2 billion. Peggy's career spans over two decades, with foundational experience as Operations Manager at Dunlap Equity Management and earlier roles at Wells Capital Management, TranSierra Capital, and Advent Software. Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Francisco State University.

Since 1937 the Foundation has provided more than $2.4 billion in grants to organizations throughout California. The Foundation ended 2022 with $3.2 billion in assets and provided $187.3 million in grants.
