Megan Van Someren currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at The Jamie Oliver Group, leading brand and commercial growth with a strong focus on social impact since March 2022. Previously, Megan acted as a Strategic Advisor and Global Food & Beverage Chair at Edelman, managing a $120M portfolio while fostering a community of food advocates. As the Founder and Global Director of Canteen Consulting, Megan established a team dedicated to innovative strategies for food and drink brands. Megan's extensive experience includes roles such as Global Strategy Director at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide, where brand repositioning efforts for Special K were notable, and EVP, Global Strategy Director at Leo Burnett, focusing on global planning for Kellogg’s brands. Earlier positions include senior planning roles at Wunderman, Seven Interactive, and JWT Digital. Education includes a degree in Communication and Media Studies from Richmond, The American International University in London, and an Advertising degree from Drake University.
