Kurtis O'Brien

Kurtis O'Brien, LCSW, currently serves as the Director of Substance Use Disorder Services at Jane Pauley Community Health Center since September 2025. Prior to this role, Kurtis held positions at Aware Recovery Care, Inc. as Corporate Director of Recovery Services and Director of Recovery Services from August 2021 to September 2025. Earlier experience includes roles at Community Health Network as Clinical Supervisor and Inpatient Social Worker from January 2016 to July 2021, as well as therapist positions at Cummins Behavioral Health Services and Solutions EAP. Kurtis began a professional journey in 2012 after earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ball State University, followed by a Master's degree in Social Work from Indiana University Bloomington in 2014.
