Drew Damron

Drew Damron is a seasoned library professional currently serving as a Senior Librarian and Adjunct Faculty at Temple University Japan, where Drew teaches an ACTV 1004 "Walking/Jogging/Running" class for the Summer 2024 term. As a Contributing Writer for The Japan Times and former Library Manager at Tokyo American Club, Drew managed one of the largest English-language libraries in Japan, leading a team of four international staff members. Previous experience includes roles at Grand Rapids Public Library, focusing on archival materials and research support, and various positions at educational institutions, including Continuing Education Instructor at Kendall College of Art and Design. Drew holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Wayne State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Grand Valley State University, and an Associate of Arts from Grand Rapids Community College.
