Tara Simpkins

Tara Simpkins is an experienced professional with a diverse background in event management and family engagement. Presently serving as an Event Specialist at The JDK Group since April 2022, Tara previously held the position of Family Engagement Specialist at U-GRO Learning Centres from August 2018 to April 2022. Earlier roles include Editorial Assistant at Stackpole Books and Culture Editor at Swinging Bridge Magazine, both in 2017, as well as Director at Crossroads Camp from June 2013 to August 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing daily activities and managing staff for a large summer camp. Additionally, Tara interned in the Distribution & Sales department at Simon and Schuster in late 2016 and served as Executive Secretary for the Messiah College Student Government Association from August 2015 to May 2016. Tara earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Messiah University in 2018.
