Alice Kent is a finance and administration officer at Sustain: The alliance for better food and farming since April 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a graduate ecologist at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, where Alice demonstrated proficiency in creating species maps and gained experience in ecological surveys. A research intern at the University of Oxford's WildCRU, Alice developed skills in DNA analysis and statistical methods while focusing on badger studies. Additional roles encompass teaching, conservation internships, and research assistant positions across various wildlife organizations. Alice holds a Master of Science in Applied Ecology and Conservation from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Newcastle University.

Sustain: The alliance for better food and farming advocates food and agriculture policies and practices that enhance the health and welfare of people and animals, improve the working and living environment, enrich society and culture and promote equity. We represent around 100 national public interest organisations working at international, national, regional and local level.
