Ramón D. Balsa-Kerr

Ramón D. Balsa-Kerr possesses over a decade of extensive experience in providing non-medical counseling services, particularly to military personnel and their families, addressing issues such as emotional well-being, relationship difficulties, and substance abuse. Currently serving at The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health since November 2019, Ramón has previously held prominent roles, including Human Services Coordinator I at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and Military and Family Life Counselor - Embedded with MHN Government Services. Additional experience includes positions as an Academic-Vocational Counselor at Centro Sor Isolina Ferré, Inc. and various roles in mental health and utilization management with Pennsylvania Counseling Services, APS Healthcare of Puerto Rico, and Mepsi Center Psychiatric Hospital. Ramón holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Inter American University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.
