Marci Soifer

Marci Soifer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in nonprofit organizations. Starting in 2004, they worked at Young Judaea Sprout Camps as a Program Director and later as an Associate Director until 2010. In 2011, they joined American Jewish World Service as a Social Justice Speaking Fellow and subsequently served as an International Group Leader for Volunteer Summer. In 2011, they also began working at Repair the World as a Program Associate and Operations Manager, followed by a role as NYU Capstone Project in Management Consulting. From 2013 to 2015, Marci was the Director of Operations and Planning at Birthright Israel NEXT, NY. Marci'snext position was at the Foundation for Jewish Camp, where they were initially the Operations and Planning Director, and was later promoted to Director of Operations. During their time there, they implemented various initiatives such as launching the Operations Department, migrating financial processes to a digital platform, and overseeing the Salesforce database implementation. In 2021, Marci worked as an Operations and Management Consultant for multiple organizations before joining The Jewish Education Project, where they currently hold the role of Director of Operations and Human Resources. In July 2023, they will transition to the position of Managing Director, Data Systems and Strategy at the same organization.

Marci Soifer has a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from New York University. Marci also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Judaic Studies from the same institution. Marci completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on Creative Writing.
