Sara Aardema is a Refugee Services Program Specialist at the Jewish United Fund, with prior experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Wheaton College, where Sara facilitated an online course on Refugee and Forced Migration Issues. Sara's extensive tenure at World Relief included roles as Church Mobilization Director, Volunteer and Church Engagement Director, Church Mobilizer, and Bilingual Intake & Administrative Coordinator, demonstrating expertise in church engagement and volunteer coordination. Previous positions include Public Policy Intern at the Illinois Latino Family Commission, English Language and Cultural Assistant in Spain, Outdoor Recreational Program Assistant with AmeriCorps, and Research Assistant in the Hope College Political Science Department. Sara holds a Master of Public Policy from Loyola University Chicago and a B.A. with triple majors from Hope College, along with a semester abroad at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
