Barry Rabbetts

Barry Rabbetts started their work experience in 1998 as a News Reporter for The Eastbourne Herald. Barry then moved on to Kent News & Pictures in 1999, where they served as the News Editor until 2004. From 2004 to 2017, Barry held various roles at the Daily Mirror, including Night News Editor, News Editor, Deputy Head of Content, Head of News, and finally, Executive Editor (Content). In 2015, they also briefly worked as the Executive Editor for The New Day. Since 2017, Barry has been the Head of External Communications & Editorial at The Jockey Club.

Barry Rabbetts attended City of Portsmouth College for one year, from 1997 to 1998. During this time, they pursued a degree in NCTJ Newspaper Journalism and successfully obtained their NCTJ qualification.
