Karin Ellis-Wentz

Karin Ellis-Wentz is currently the Head of Conservatory and Pre-Professional Program at Joffrey Academy of Dance, where Karin has been a full-time Academy Faculty member since June 2016. Prior to their time at Joffrey, Karin served as the Head of Pre-Professional Programs at the American Ballet Theatre (ABT®) for 17 years. Karin is a certified ballet teacher by ABT® and has extensive experience as a dancer and instructor, having worked with various prestigious companies and institutions such as ChiArts, Hudson Dance and Movement, New York Film Academy, Boston Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, and Atlanta Ballet.
