Dave Emison

Dave Emison has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in human resources and community service. Currently serving as a Supervisor for the Lakewood Ranch Community Development District since January 2008, Emison holds an elected position akin to a town councilman. Emison has also been a Docent at The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art since 2006 and works as an Independent Human Resources Consultant with EJE Consulting since February 2004. Previously, Emison spent 25 years as the Vice President of Human Resources in the Legal Division at Pfizer, where responsibilities included managing global human resources. Emison began a career as a C-130 pilot in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1979. Emison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePauw University in 1973, following graduation from Bloomfield Hills Andover High School in 1969.
