Dr. Helga Wall-Apelt

Dr. Helga Wall-Apelt is a distinguished medical professional and art patron with extensive experience in internal medicine, radiology, and traditional Chinese medicine. As a founder of the Asian Art Galleries at the Ringling Museum, Dr. Wall-Apelt has served on the Board of Directors since 2000, promoting cultural appreciation and education. Prior to this role, Dr. Wall-Apelt practiced medicine at the Center of TCM in Sarasota, Florida, from 1993 to 2007, specializing in internal medicine and radiology before retiring. Dr. Wall-Apelt earned an MD and Ph.D. in Internal Medicine, Radiology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine from medical schools in Munich and Hamburg, Germany.
