Avrami Rakovsky is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and product design. Currently serving as the Additive Manufacturing Operations Manager in the Polymer Division at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since August 2016, Avrami has previously held significant roles at American Built Arms Company, including Director of Design and Engineering and Design Project Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing product development from concept to manufacturing and managing design-related marketing materials. Early career experience includes industrial design internships at POD DESIGN+MEDIA and Ran Lerner Design, contributing to product design and development in various fields. Avrami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
