Carlos Santiago

Carlos Santiago is a Senior Systems Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, with extensive experience in supporting secure information systems and serving as Technical Lead for virtual infrastructure. Previously, Carlos held roles including Assistant Information System Security Officer and Senior Systems Administrator within the Information Technology Services Department, ensuring compliance with security guidelines. Carlos has also owned and operated LoSantiago Photography, providing photography services for various events. Additional experience includes positions at TSA as Systems & Virtualization Administrator and Desktop Support Lead, along with technical roles at InfoZen, Carroll County Public Schools, and eBryIT. Carlos holds a Master’s degree in Cloud Computing Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, as well as an Associate degree in Computer Information Systems from Carroll Community College.
