Edward C. Foxworth Jr

Edward C. Foxworth Jr, CISSP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Edward C. began their career in 1994 as an Officer in the United States Department of Defense, where they served until 2014. During this time, they also worked as an Intelligence Systems Officer at USS CONSTELLATION (CV-64)/Fleet Intelligence Training Pacific (FITCPAC) from 1999 to 2001 and as a Fleet Intelligence Systems Officer at Commander Seventh Fleet (COMSEVENTHFLT) from 2003 to 2006.

In 2006, Edward joined Navy Information Operations Command - Suitland, where they served as Deputy Intelligence Department Head/Technical Analyst until 2008. Edward C. then moved on to U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), where they worked as an Executive Officer/Division Chief from 2008 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2014, Edward worked at U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) as a Cyber Intelligence Planner/Executive Assistant to the Special Command Advisor. Edward C. then joined The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in 2014 and has held various roles, including Project Manager/Cybersecurity Engineer, Assistant Program Manager, Program Manager, and currently serves as the Cybersecurity Lead.

Throughout their career, Edward has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, program management, intelligence systems, and information management.

Edward C. Foxworth Jr, CISSP has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Technology (Scientific and Technical Intelligence, Intelligence Information Management) from Naval Postgraduate School. Edward C. also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. In addition, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2 in September 2007.
