Noble Hetherington III

Noble Hetherington III is a program manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, focusing on surface Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems and supporting various military sponsors since August 2020. Previously, Noble served as a faculty member and master instructor of mathematics at the United States Naval Academy, teaching advanced subjects from 2012 to 2020. Noble's military career in the US Navy spanned two decades, with notable roles including operations officer on multiple ships and leadership positions as department head and faculty member. An alumnus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Applied Physics, Noble holds a Master of Science in Engineering Acoustics from the Naval Postgraduate School and completed nuclear engineering training.
