Patricia Harrington-Duff has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and technical engineering. Patricia served as the Lead Ground Software Engineer/ Principal Professional Staff at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from 2010 to present. Prior to that, they worked at Integral Systems Inc as a Lead Technical Engineer from 1999 to 2010, where they were responsible for the development and testing of Java services for the GPS OCX Phase A command and control subsystem. Patricia also held roles in telemetry decom and command commutation for satellite programs. Before that, they worked at Lockheed Martin Space Mission Systems and Services as a Software Quality Engineer from 1996 to 1999, where they developed software for real-time satellite ground control systems and conducted end-user training.
Patricia Harrington-Duff holds a MS degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University (2010-2013). Patricia also earned a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus (date unknown, 1997). Additionally, they obtained a MA degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago (1987-1989), and a BA degree in Political Science and Physics from Miami University (1983-1987).
