Rachael Kang

Rachael Kang is currently a Design Thinking Strategist at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, contributing to the research and development of future technology in the Air and Missile Defense Sector. Rachael has previous experience as a Human-Centered Design and Engineering Intern at the same organization. In addition to this role, Rachael is pursuing a PhD in Human Centered Computing at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Prior experience includes serving as a Research and Technology Specialist at 3C Institute, Graduate Student at Rochester Institute of Technology, and Clinical Trial Associate at Bausch Health Companies Inc. Rachael also interned with Lenovo's User Experience Research Team and held various research and assistant positions during undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
