Tony Garcia has over 35 years of work experience in the field of satellite communications. Tony began their career in 1982 at Comsat Mobile Communications, where they worked as an Inmarsat TT&C Supervisor for over 13 years. In 1995, they joined Alphastar Digital Television as an RF Engineer, and later moved to Inmarsat in 1998, taking on the role of TT&C/IOT Engineer. In 2003, they joined Sirius Satellite Radio as a Shift Manager until 2007. Tony is currently working as the Lead Ground Station Engineer at JHU Applied Physics Laboratory, where they are responsible for managing the engineering and operations of the Satellite Communications Facility.
Tony Garcia attended the University of Bridgeport in 1981-1982 and again in 1986-1987. Prior to this, they attended BOCES Technical Schools from 1973 to 1975.
