Tzipi (Klein) Sidel is a Senior Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, working in the Image Exploitation Group and the Communication and Networking Systems Group since 2006. Previous roles include Senior Engineer positions at Sgt Inc from 1999 to 2005 and CSC from 1997 to 1999, where Tzipi designed and developed applications for the Landsat-7 project. Tzipi served as a Visiting Scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in the Radiometric Sensor Group from 1993 to 1995 and worked at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as a Researcher and Scientific Programmer from 1980 to 1993 in the Underwater Acoustic Signal Processing Group and Telecommunications Department. Tzipi earned a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems from The Johns Hopkins University (2018-2020), a Master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Bar-Ilan University.
