Geordy Johnson

Geordy Johnson has held various leadership roles in the real estate and investment banking sectors. Geordy served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of The Johnson Group, overseeing three operating companies. Prior to that, Geordy was the CEO of Johnson Development Associates, Inc., a national real estate developer. Geordy also gained experience in investment services at AvalonBay Communities and as a Summer Associate at BlackRock. Earlier in their career, Geordy worked as an Associate at The Johnson Group, Black Creek Group, and in the Real Estate Private Equity division at Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC. Geordy started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Allen & Company LLC.

Geordy Johnson earned an MBA with a focus on Real Estate and Entrepreneurship from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their BA in English at Washington and Lee University from 2001 to 2005. Geordy attended Spartanburg High School from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, they attended Pine Crest School from 1993 to 1999, completing 5th to 10th grade. Geordy has also acquired certifications such as "Leadership at the Peak" from the Center for Creative Leadership and "Governing Family Enterprises" from Kellogg Executive Education. Geordy also obtained an ARGUS Software Certified (ASC) - Valuation - DCF certification from ARGUS Software Solutions in January 2013.
