Colleen Labuhn

Colleen LaBuhn is a seasoned healthcare professional currently serving as the Joint Commission Disease Specific LVAD since March 2023 and as the Executive Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at UChicago Medicine since May 2021. With extensive experience at the University of Chicago since December 2012, Colleen has held various roles including Assistant Director of Advanced Practice Providers, Lead VAD Coordinator, and Cardiac Surgery Program Manager. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, Colleen worked as a Critical Care Educator and Registered Nurse at Provenance St. Joe's Medical Center from September 2010 to December 2012. Academic credentials include an MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Bradley University and a Master of Science in Nursing, Education from Olivet Nazarene University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis.
