Darlene Silvernail

Darlene Silvernail is an experienced professional in the field of behavioral health with a significant background in quality assurance and education. Since September 2014, Darlene has served as a medical behavioral health risk management surveyor for the Joint Commission, focusing on the compliance of behavioral health care organizations with safety and quality standards. Previously, Darlene held the position of Past Executive Director of The Florida Mental Health Counselors Association from April 2015 to July 2018, where responsibilities included overseeing administrative functions and implementing board policies. Darlene's extensive experience also includes serving as the prior Clinical Director at Total Recovery Now and owning Silvernail Consultant Services, which specialized in developing educational programs in psychology. Additionally, Darlene was the owner of CEU4You, facilitating continuing education for behavioral health professionals. Darlene has held academic positions as a professor and program director at South University and holds multiple degrees in psychology, including a PhD and an active EdD in counseling educational psychology from Argosy University.
