Senior Analyst, Scotland at Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF)

Carla Cebula is a highly experienced analyst currently serving as Lead Analyst at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation since January 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Analyst. Prior to this, Carla worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, contributing to the VisNET Project aimed at supporting post-doctoral female researchers in Scotland's Engineering and Physical Sciences sector. Carla's earlier roles include Q-step Teaching and Technology Support Coordinator and AQMeN PhD Student at The University of Edinburgh, where research focused on the impact of capital on education outcomes in Scotland, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow, assisting with statistical methods for social sciences. Additionally, Carla has experience as an Assistant Statistician with the Scottish Government and has held positions in the National Library of Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland. Carla holds a PhD in Educational Inequality from the University of Edinburgh, a Master’s Degree in Equality and Human Rights from the University of Glasgow, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy and Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh.
