Avia Paz is currently a Clinical Therapist Intern at Josselyn and a Clinical Social Work Intern at Lincoln Park Community Services. Previously, Avia served as a Research Assistant at Tulane University, analyzing participant data and presenting research on exercise and life satisfaction. During an earlier role as an ABA Line Therapist with BEHAVIOR TEACHING CONCEPTS, LLC, Avia implemented treatment plans and behavioral interventions for a nonverbal child with Autism. Additional experience includes roles as an Education Intern at Anna's Place, Clinical and Research Intern at Reuth Organization, Lewis Summer Intern at Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, and a Summer Intern at Journey's Dream, focusing on mental health awareness. Avia began professional journey as a Receptionist at Oakton Health Center. Education includes a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago Crown Family School and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Tulane University.
