Karen Francisco

Karen Francisco has an extensive career in journalism, having served as the editorial page editor and later as the retired editorial page editor at The Journal Gazette from July 2000 to the present. Prior to this role, Karen worked as the metro editor at The Star Press from 1998 to 2000. Educationally, Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and political science from Ball State University, where studies were completed between 1979 and 1982, and also attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1978 to 1979.
