Lisa Green Kelsaw

Lisa Green Kelsaw is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in local news and business reporting. Serving as the Assistant Managing Editor for Local News at The Journal Gazette since June 2000, Lisa oversees the local metro and business reporting staff, collaborating with department editors. Prior to this role, Lisa spent 14 years at the Rockford Register Star, where responsibilities included serving as Business Editor and various reporting and editing positions, which featured a three-month stint in the Money section at USA Today. Lisa holds two Bachelor's degrees in Journalism from Eastern Illinois University, earned between 1982 and 1986.
