Jeff Elkins is an accomplished reporter with experience in Capitol and business news reporting at The Journal Record since April 2023. Prior to this role, Jeff worked at The Norman Transcript from May 2020 to April 2023, covering business, living, and community beats, and started as an intern reporter focusing on similar topics. Earlier in their career, Jeff served as Editor in Chief and Managing Editor at The Vista, where responsibilities included overseeing staff and covering capital, community, and campus news. Jeff holds a degree in Professional Media, Journalism from the University of Central Oklahoma, earned between 2015 and 2020.
