Mark Stites

Mark Stites has extensive experience in the field of technology. Mark served as the Director of Technology at The Joy School from 2005, where they focused on establishing a secure location for document sharing, expanding the wireless network, and providing staff education. Mark oversaw all aspects of technology operations and ensured proper technology and security education for all individuals.

In 2013, Mark became the owner of Covered Networks, LLC. Mark served West Houston by implementing secure technology solutions for local community centers, including advanced firewalls, fast wireless access, video surveillance, Office 365 integration, Azure services, and backup and recovery protection.

Prior to that, Mark worked as a Systems Engineer at CT Corporation, UCC Direct from 2000 to 2005. In this role, they implemented processes for the maintenance and restoration of critical business systems and data. Mark also administered the data center and monitored network activity, virus attacks, and performed patch management.

Throughout their career, Mark has consistently demonstrated their expertise in technology and their ability to create secure and technologically advanced environments.

Mark Stites completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Houston. Their field of study during this time is not specified. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in the field of information security, including CISSP Cert Prep courses on various topics such as security assessment and testing, security operations, software development security, communication and network security, identity and access management, security architecture and engineering, security and risk management, asset security, and the basics of CISSP. These certifications were obtained between November 2019 and February 2020 from LinkedIn.
